Part one
Sandra's Howling
Sandra was very young and smart. She was an eleven year old in the eighth grade. She was also very pretty for her age. She looked like she could be in tenth grade. Sadly she wasn't very normal either. See Sandra had this strange obsession with wolves and other canine family animals. She often snuck out to the forest by her house where there were many animals. Her obsession was so big that one night it changed her life."I hear them. The wolves howling in the night. It's beautiful." she told her friend Peter.
Tales From Nothingness
Intro: Welcome
"Welcome children and adults a like. There are things in this world that no one will understand. For instance why do we fall in love, or even better why do we fear? I will tell you stories of many things gruesome and happy or beautiful and fearful." The man on the podium says. He's very tall and skinny yet he is very frightening. I stand there with my mother and three older brothers and my younger sister. All of us are entranced by this terrifying man. I'm not sure why he is so scary though.
"Now before we start I must warn you. There are parts that aren't very child friendly. So if you want your children to stay innocent then you may leave. Some of these stories also have some wisdom to them." The man spoke.
"Kids I don't think we should stay any longer at this freak show. Grab your things and let's leave." Mother spoke to us.
"Ma'am please stay. We are not freaks here. Just humble nomads trying to make a living." He spoke.
Mother wasn't about to let us stay. I was so entranced. So stuck there. I couldn't hear anyone else other than the man. My mother pulled my hand and broke the trance. I looked back and saw a small creature standing on his shoulder. I wasn't sure what it was. It was scary yet cute. As we walked back to the house in the cold winter snow my sister realized that she had left her doll there. I told mother that I would go back and get it after dinner. My brothers had plans tonight so they wouldn't go. I was pretty scared to be honest. That traveling circus was strange and abnormal. It scared me. I mean there were all sorts of scary looking people there. I had to prove I was a good brother though and that I was big enough to go out to a friend's house or something. I'm eleven years old now. I can take care of myself.
After dinner was over I put my hat and gloves on. I grabbed my jacket and was off. As I was walking there I saw someone getting beat up in the alley. They kept asking for help. I just kept walking scared. Maybe mother was right. Maybe I'm not ready yet. I continue walking down to the park where the circus was. It was around ten o' clock so it meant that they were starting to close down for the night until tomorrow. Hopefully I make it before they are all packed up. As I enter the park I here a woman getting attacked by a man. The city is really scary. I here him yelling at her saying that he's going to rip her to shreds. I walk nervously by. I finally reach then entrance. They're open for another half an hour. As I walk in a small puppy limps to me. In a panic I bring him to the most normal looking worker at the circus. She takes me to the back of the tent that the man was in. She leaves and comes back with the man. That strange creature is staring at me again. I stare back making faces at it. The man looks over at me.
"So you can see him. The small gremlin on my shoulder. His name is Chester. he seems to like you boy." The man speaks to me.
"A gremlin? Aren't those small demons?" I say to the man. He chuckles and laughs and smiles at me.
"You seem to have a talent for seeing the things people are most scared of? Like that man being mugged in the alley and the woman being raped in the park." The man says. How does he know I saw any of that? I start to tremble in fear. I eventually pass out of how scared I am.
I wake up in the hospital with my mother and the strange man. My mother is thanking him for taking care of me. My mother walks out of the room with the doctor. I'm all alone with this man. The man who scares me most. He wants to kill me.
"I don't want to kill you my boy. I am worried about you. Also you wanted to hear my stories. Yes?" The man says to me with a smile. I nod my head yes because it's true. I wanted to hear at least one of his stories.
"Good. Now which one should I tell you first. Oh I know. How about Sandra's Howling." The man spoke

Why is everyone so Boring?
Chapter One
Why is everyone so boring? All we do here is play checkers, read, study, and worst of all have arranged marriages. I mean what's the point of falling in love when it's being forced? I want to fall in love with someone insane. First though, I want to know why my friends are boring. I mean I'm called weird and brave for going fishing, hunting, play sports. I mean I'm not the most fit, but at least I have more fun. I mean I think the craziest thing any of my friends have done is probably that time Sherri Muller asked out this guy in college. He of course said yes because of the fact Sherri is down right the sexiest girl I've ever met. I still can't help but wonder. Why is my town so dull?
"Hey Sherri. I've decided to find out why everyone here is so boring
compared to me." I said with a tone of excitement.
"I
think it's because most people here are more sane compared to you. I mean you're always risking your life or
grades." She replied in a monotone voice.
"Well maybe so,
but that's not everything I bet. Plus you would have fun if you came out with me exploring the woods or hiking." I
replied.
"I'm sorry but I have to make time for studies and
for Jared. I think he's absolutely swell." she said with a small smile on her face.
Swell? Who the hell says that anymore. We live in the twenty-first century. Not the fifteen-hundreds. Oh well. Like I said. Everyone here is so boring it makes me want to rip my ears off so I don't hear them so much. But what I didn't know is that tonight is when my town would become fearful of the dark and lose hope.
"Hey Lee is that you honey?" Mrs. Wallow says upstairs. But no one replies. All she can hear is a grumbling sound and the sound of breaking bones and vigorous chewing. As she entered Lee Wallow's room she saw something that looked like it crawled from the depths of hell. Eating her son and eating their dog. She screamed and panicked. The monstrous blob like creature stood up and screeched in a high pitch which shattered windows and drove Mrs. Wallow mad. She collapsed on the floor. When she woke up the monster was gone and her son was mutilated.
It's been about three weeks since Lee had been killed. Police
suspect it was his mother who did it. No one else has died though. So I guess that's good. But school is still so
boring. Some of my classmates have gotten more boring though. All I can do is sit here. I mean hell I'm starting to
get boring. I mean I'm sitting hear in class and everyone else is acting not as boring as me. What happened? When
did I start getting so boring? I'll never figure that out. I mean I have always been the most exciting person in
this town. So why now has that changed?
"Everyone the bell
has wrung. Sit in your seats. We have a new student joining us. She is joining us in the middle of class. She has
some sort of errands to run."
A new girl? That's weird. No one ever transfers here. This town is known for being boring. I bet she's crazier than Satin himself. Not even Satan would last here. The more I think about it the more I realize that I think this is a part of hell stuck in the human world. Oh well though I mean everything I do is to make it more like a piece of heaven instead of hell. I don't understand though. Why am I boring all of the sudden.
"Excuse me. Sorry. Coming through. Pardon me. Where is my class. Oh
here it is." A girl says as she slams open the door.
"I'm
here! Sorry I'm later than promised." She said.
"You're
fine. Class this is Belle Conway. She lives with her older sister because her parents died in an accident. I expect
you all to be accepting and respectful towards her." Mr. Hollins said.
"It's
a pleasure to meet you all!" Belle said.
"You may sit
anywhere you like." Mr. Hollins says.
Belle looks around the class and notices a seat right beside me and sits there. Why beside me? Doesn't she know? I'm the odd one here. Well whatever it is that's going through her head doesn't concern me.
Finally the bell rings. Time for lunch. I hope today is chicken fried steak. I love the schools homemade chicken fried steak. With gravy and stuffing. God that sounds so good. Wait I wonder if Belle is doing okay? I wonder where she is? Wait why am I thinking of her? This isn't right. I don't even know her. I walk over to my usual table this time no one is there. That's weird. I start eating my lunch. I can't stop thinking of her. Why?
"Hey stranger. Is this seat taken?" a familiar voice asks.
"No. You can sit down sweetheart." I respond. Wait why did I say sweetheart? I turn around and notice that it's Belle. Oh god she probably thinks I'm hitting on her.
"Sweetheart? I mean I did date you as a child. I'm surprised you don't remember your childhood sweetheart." Belle replies.
Childhood sweetheart? Wait why is she saying that. I don't remember her at all. Then again after that accident when I was nine I don't remember much at all. Maybe I do know her.
